Edge Office, LLC is owned and operated by its three principals:

MICHAEL D. KERR is the founder and President. He is responsible for overall corporate management and strategy, and leads the sales/business development team.

Michael has over 25 years of operations and sales management experience in the facilities and information technology industries. He founded Edge Office, LLC in 2004 when he acquired the business assets of BRG’s RTP-based Teknion dealership, of which he was the General Manager from 2002 to 2004. From 1995 to 2002 Michael held sales, operations, and senior management positions in several information technology companies in the Raleigh/Durham area. Prior to moving to Raleigh in 1995, he was a corporate vice president with HON Industries, and the vice president of operations for a $40 million Seattle-based Steelcase dealer. He began his career in the facilities industry at Steelcase, where he started as a product engineer and progressed to a senior purchasing buyer. He holds an MBA from Western Michigan University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

DANIEL B. SEATON is the Vice President of Operations. He is responsible for design services, project implementation and life cycle management.

Danny has over 15 years of experience in corporate workplace management, having worked for several well-recognized companies including Nortel Networks, Trammell Crow Company, and Cisco Systems, Inc. He was Cisco’s Workplace Effectiveness Program Manager. He has both “end user” and “service provider” experience in corporate workplace management. Over his career he has delivered large, complex projects ranging from corporate tenant improvements, such as lab, office and specialized space up-fits, to shell construction from the ground up. He earned a vocational degree from Wake Technical Community College and holds a North Carolina State Mechanical Contracting License. He is also a Carolinas CoreNet Chapter board member and communications officer.

STEVEN R. WINEGAR is the Vice President of Finance and Marketing. He is responsible for finance, administration, infrastructure, and marketing.

Steve has over 15 years of experience in the information technology industry. He helped grow several entrepreneurial ventures over his career, with a broad range of responsibilities including: marketing, product management, sales, strategic partnering, budget management, organizational planning, contract negotiation and development, and legal issue resolution. He earned bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and holds an MBA from Duke University.
